Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, a Kent town, Greater London. Her most well-known work is for playing roles in films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other which include 'Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was Gravesend near Greater London. Her acting career began shortly after she was graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her debut came in a comedy titled "St Trinian's". In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace and Quantum of Solace, released shortly afterwards, she played in a role of support. The film was commercially successful, but was generally praised. In the following film, she played the female lead in the action fantasy film 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time'. The film featured her as a supporting character in the French film 'Orphan.' Her career in the film industry has had her receiving numerous nominations for awards. Her nomination was for the highly coveted Empire Award for best newcomer for her role in Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for her role as a supporting actress in Made in Dagenham.
