Her name was listed as one of this year's most popular teens in the July 2003 issue Vanity Fair. In 2004, Vega has completed two film projects, Sleepover and State's evidence. She starred as an online bully in Lifetime's television movie Odd Girl Out the following year. In 2006, she starred in a television film in 2006 called Walkout. In 2007, she finished filming Remember the Daze which was only available in select theatres. Repo had been completed. The Genetic Opera released in 2008. ([10]) Vega has been confirmed as the main character in Helix composed and directed by Aram Rappaport. It was filmed in Chicago on March 8, 2008. She was originally cast in the 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, because of her being in Australia during the production of Broken Hill, she had been recast. Kat Dennings replaced her. Penny, a character she played on Broadway's Hairspray. She played Ruby Gallagher in the ABC Family sitcom Ruby & the Rockits which featured Patrick Cassidy and David Cassidy. Vega performed the role of Wick in 2012's film The Devil's Carnival, a film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and screenwriter Terrance Zdunich, who previously worked together with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. 12. Vega appeared alongside Spencer Grammer, Kathryn Morris as well as Rob Margolies in 2br/1ba throughout 2012. Vega has also appeared as a co-star in her role in the Lifetime Channel movie The Pregnancy Project and her animated film The Clockwork Girl was completed. The Mine was filmed by Vega in 2010. The film was only available for a brief screening. Vega voiced Christina in the animated series Unsupervised as well as had an appearance in Royal Pains.
